![]() ![]() ![]() Stardew Valley is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. Next: Where to Find (& Catch) Sunfish in Stardew Valley Once players have upgraded their Chicken's home to a Deluxe Coop, the Hay Hopper building features an auto-feed system that automatically places Hay on the feeding benches. Farmers can enter their Coop, retrieve the stored Hay from the Hay Hopper, and place the feed onto the bench for the Chickens to eat. The third way to feed Chickens is by building a Silo with Robin and then harvesting Grass to store Hay in the Silo. Keep in mind that this method is not functional during the Winter Season. Grass Starters in Stardew Valley can be purchased and placed on the ground for this technique. Another way to feed Chickens is by letting them roam the farm grounds wherever Grass is present. However, continuously buying Hay can become expensive and is only recommended for low-supply emergencies. This method is practical for those in the game's early stages who've yet to construct a Silo. First, they can visit Marnie's Ranch and purchase Hay for 50g a bundle. Das Silo dient der Speicherung von Heu, welches auf dem Hof gesammelt wurde. Without a silo, players may struggle to keep their cows and chickens fed and happy, especially in the wintertime. ![]() These tall, 3x3 structures are used to store hay, which is a vital material for any farmer who chooses to raise animals. Maybe, the horse doesn't always stay so patiently where you leave her until full friendship? Maybe she wanders (a little) from where you left her until then? Just enough to have to look around a little, not enough to have her complete take off lol.Accordingly, there are three primary ways players can feed their Chickens in Stardew Valley. Das Silo ist eines der erwerbbaren Hofgebäude, welches von Robin im Schreinerladen erworben werden kann und nach zwei Tagen fertiggestellt ist. Do you need a silo for chickens Silos are an essential building to have on any Stardew Valley farm. Love the one about treats for the horse (plus friending the hose). Published To produce Eggs and their correlating products in Stardew Valley, farmers will need to understand the different ways they can feed their Chickens. Wish I could donate some to you guys lol!įeeding with farm product is a neat idea. I still have that large emergency stash (over 700 at least) in a chest though that never gets used, just in case it should happen again when adding new buildings because it is such a drag. I'd plant a little bit of grass everywhere on the last day of winter for it to really take off when spring turns, then use the scythe (or later in game the golden scythe) to fill my silos early. ![]() I use 3 silos for 2 fully upgraded and filled animal buildings. In the end I just had to build another silo because Marnie's schedule was too darned inconvenient. The 3rd lvl off the building is auto-feed so u dont have to place the hay on your own anymore. the silo is ( until u get your stuff upgraded to lvl 3 ) just storage. Even though you just harvested 200 pumpkins. in the barn there is a place where u can place your hay. Maybe its winter, maybe its raining, maybe you didnt think to make a silo before you made a barn, but your animals are going hungry. It doesn't seem to work when the buildings are fully upgraded though. Were all out of hay, and Marnies off doing excercise with the ladies or getting her knickers twisted by Lewis. It does take a few days for it to spread, so you may want to close the hatch a couple days, until the grass has grown sufficiently, so they won’t eat it all in one day. I think it would be awesome if when you mistreat your animals for too long, Shane marches up from. Animal services taking them away would be more tone appropriate, in my opinion. Back then, before my animal buildings were fully upgraded, I could take hay out of the feeder inside the barn or coop (which pulls it from the silos) to supposedly feed my animals, except I'd put it in a chest instead, then rinse and repeat a bunch of times (only feeding my animals when I was done). If you already chopped down all your grass to get hay, you can buy a grass starter recipe from Pierre for 1000g, so you can plant some new grass in the enclosure. (Cows can survive for 2 months without food) That might be a bit morbid for an otherwise cheerful and mostly light-hearted game. I was so darned set on preventing it that I started hoarding excess hay in chests lol. And 'farm animals' can be purchased which serve as a source of various kinds of produce, providing resources and profit. A pet (cat or dog) can be earned which the player can form a friendship with. Some are wildlife, which cannot be interacted with. I figured it is part of the designed conflict but it was a major inconvenience for sure. Animals fulfill several roles on the farm. ![]()
